- Genesis of the gods
The Greek myths and Hindu traditions tell us of gods and demigods walking the earth. On the worlds first stream of self or emotion, man struggled up the solar stream of consciousness towards the surface of himself and the earth. Leaving his interior existence in the psyche, he began to consciously enter and realize the physical prepared body for him. Several men made it first. These first physically conscious men were a very rare phenomenon in the small communities of unselfconscious men who lived together in different parts of the globe. Each self-conscious man was able to retreat back into the psyche communicating to those coming up behind him vague notions of the amazing existence awaiting them in body-consciouness. These men were so loosely attached to their physical bodies, compared to us today, that they lived in both worlds. They only had to meditate
