3.DNA
The first life forms possessed minimal consciousness-Instinct .Instinct is the conscious of the unconscious.It is the knowledge of having survived death and the urge to experience it again. For millions of years the desire to live and survive again was a sufficient dynamic to keep the species evolving under the guidance of the psychic brain. However it could not provide sufficient awareness in the species to sustain reflective self consciousness – the next evolutionary requirement. For that, more sophisticated bodies had to be evolved. This led to the mammalian body.Physical versions of the brain began to appear in the species and the switch over from the psychic to genetic control began. This led the way to probably the most climacteric evolutionary step of all, the introduction of man.
